Emergency board-up in Fort Worth
Open from fire, storm, or a vehicle. We close the openings so weather and people stay out. Permanent repair is a separate job.
817-632-2522An open house takes rain, wind, and whoever walks by. Board-up and tarps first. We photograph the openings. Permanent reconstruction is not the same visit.
Call when a window is out, a garage door failed, fire opened a roof, or a vehicle went through a wall. Temporary, weather-tight enough to hold overnight. The rebuild waits until we can see what moved.
Call 817-632-2522. Fort Worth, DFW, and the towns around it. Same-night board-up.
01
When to board up
Fire openings, storm-blown windows, garage doors that failed, a vehicle through masonry, a roof hole that will take rain. If the envelope is open and people or weather can get in, close it before morning.
02
What gets covered
Windows, doors, wall openings, roof holes. Plywood and tarps sized to the opening. We photograph before and after so the file shows what was open, not just that we showed up.
03
Handoff to the real work
Board-up is not the repair. Water inside goes to drying. Fire goes to soot path and suppression water, then reconstruction. Storm envelope and interior path sit on the storm page; the roof system sits on roofing. Vehicle impact is framing and shear, not a drywall patch.
04
Occupied houses
If you are still living there, we close openings so you can stay when it is safe. Access, keys, and which rooms you need overnight get decided on the first call.
When to call
- Fire openings and roof holes
- Storm-blown windows and garage doors
- Vehicle through a wall
- Security after a loss
- Weather exposure on an occupied house
- Tarp after hail or wind opened the covering
Questions
- Is board-up the same as the rebuild?
- No. Board-up is temporary. Reconstruction is the permanent repair of what actually moved.
- Do you board up at night?
- Yes. Call 817-632-2522. Same-night board-up across Fort Worth and DFW.
- What happens after the boards are up?
- Drying if water is inside. Fire path if it burned. Storm or roofing if the envelope failed. You choose who does that work.
