Structural reconstruction in progress at a Fort Worth residence

About

We document the building. Then we rebuild it.

The model

Most restoration companies show up with a crew and an estimate written in the driveway. Preferred-vendor programs get paid to close files. Public adjusters get paid to argue the claim. We get paid to restore the house.

PRC is independent. Not on carrier vendor lists. You pick who does the work. We have been on Fort Worth fire, water, and storm losses since 2019. Occupied houses and occupied buildings. The phone is 817-632-2522.

  1. 1. Document

Photos, moisture readings, soot path, openings, and what’s actually broken — not what the first walk-through guessed. Water gets a map and a drying log. Fire gets board-up notes and what can be cleaned versus what has to come out. Storm gets the roof, the attic, and the rooms below as one path. That file is the job.

  2. 2. Scope

The repair list follows the building. Quantities, materials, and the restoration process the trade publishes — IICRC S500 for water, S700 for fire and smoke. If a paper estimate skipped cabinets, decking, or a wet cavity, the scope says so. You keep that writing. Insurance still decides what the policy pays.

  3. 3. Build

Stabilize the same day when the house is open, wet, or unsafe. Permanent work waits until the assembly is dry enough and the structure is known. Then we rebuild from those notes — framing, envelope, finishes — and walk it when it’s done.

Why that is different

A volume contractor is measured on how fast the file closes. They hang drywall on a wall that still reads wet. They paint odor into a cavity. They write the same kitchen package on a bungalow and a custom house.

A public adjuster is licensed to represent you on the claim: coverage, settlement, disputes with the carrier. That is a different license and a different job. If you need that, hire one. We photograph, measure, write a restoration estimate, talk to the adjuster about the building, and rebuild it. We do not negotiate the settlement or decide what the policy covers. The line is on contractor versus public adjuster.
